Is your doorbell camera flashing orange? This page explains exactly what it means — and gives you the steps to reconnect to Wi-Fi, complete setup, and enable important smart features like notifications and motion recordings.
What Does the Flashing Orange LED Mean?
A rapid orange double flash means your Doorbell Camera is not connected to Wi-Fi.
Common Causes:
- Wi-Fi router is down or unplugged
- Router is too far from the camera
- You changed your Wi-Fi name or password
- The doorbell is trying to connect using incorrect credentials
To fix this, you’ll need to reset the camera and reconnect it to your Wi-Fi.
How to Reset the Doorbell Camera
- Press and hold the doorbell button for 60 seconds
- Wait until the LED alternates red and green (Access Point Mode)
This resets the connection and allows you to pair it again using the mobile app.

- Alerts will show up on your phone instantly
- Can be customized later under the Notifications tab
Turn On Recording Options
By default:
- Pressing the doorbell triggers video recording
