The passive infrared motion detector monitors for motion within its area of surveillance. The motion detector has a 110 degree viewing spread with a 90 degree lookdown. When the motion detector is armed, your alarm will sound if movement is detected within a 30x50 foot range. The 2gig motion detector is immune to pets up to 55 lbs.
