Installation Options
You can install your panel in two ways:
- Wall Mount (recommended):
- Press release buttons to detach the backplate
- Secure the backplate to the wall
- Plug in the power cable (5.5–7V DC)
- Snap the panel into place
- Route the antenna properly to avoid signal loss
- Table Stand (included):
- Remove the backplate
- Attach the stand to the upper back panel
- Plug in and clip the power cable using the included strain relief system

Powering On for the First Time
- Connect the power supply (use only the approved 5.5–7VDC plug)
- Press and hold the power button on the right side for 3 seconds
- The panel will boot up automatically
Account Creation & Mobile App
Create an Alarm.com Account
- Register through your dealer or scan the QR code on your system screen
- Set your email, password, and recovery options
Download the Alarm.com App
Use the app to:
- Arm/disarm your system remotely
- Monitor live alerts
- Manage devices and automation rules
- Add or remove users
Pro Tip: Set “geo-services” in the app to receive reminders when you leave home without arming
Connect Wi-Fi & Run First Tests
Wi-Fi Setup
- Swipe down from the top of the panel
- Tap Settings → Enter installer code (1111 by default)
- Tap Wi-Fi
- Choose your network, enter the password, and tap Connect
Run a Cellular Test
- From Settings → System Tests → Cell Test
- Ensure the panel connects successfully to your monitoring center

Device Management
Adding Security Sensors
- Go to Settings → Installation → Devices → Security Sensors
- Tap Add New
- Tamper or trip the sensor
- Customize its name (e.g., “Living Room Window”)
- Save and test functionality
Adding Z-Wave Devices (Locks, Lights, Thermostats)
- Go to Devices → Z-Wave → Add Device
- Press Pair on both the panel and your smart device
- Wait for confirmation
- Customize name and location
If the device supports encryption, choose S-Line as the signal source
Software Updates & Maintenance
Check for Updates
- Swipe down → Settings → Upgrade Software
- Tap Check for Updates
- If available, tap Upgrade Using Network
Updates usually take just a few minutes.
System Maintenance Tips
- Replace sensor batteries yearly
- Clean the touchscreen with a soft cloth
Run a System Test monthly via Settings → System Tests

- User Codes: Create guest codes with temporary access
- Night Mode: Arm perimeter sensors only — perfect while you’re home
